Market Development Manager

    The Market Development Manager is a sales driven role, managing an assigned market and/or product group. The role is devoted to grow business against competition through a holistic 4P strategy (product, place, price & promotion). Market Development Manager is required to stay connected to the market either by frequent traveling or on an expatriate assignment. The last but not the least, he/she is expected to come with an open mind, and to live and work as a true global citizen in the dynamic IT business environment.

  • Study and analyze the market competition, define the opportunity, propose product positioning to decide business strategy together with line manager.
  • Understand our product portfolio and roadmap from the headquarters; select the right product & SKU for the assigned market.
  • Set up the right pricing strategy for each product line to maximize market share and profit.
  • Decide go-to-market channel strategy and channel program to maximize sales quantity & profit.
  • Co-work with marketing team to plan marketing strategy and activities to raise brand position and preference.
  • Based on the understanding of the assigned market, provide accurate sales forecast to headquarters.
  • Monitor sell-in, sell-out, final inventory status and modify the order and forecast and ensure healthy supply status in the market.
  • Manage quarterly business simulations including revenue, costs, expenses, and profit.
  • Decide and set up the service policy for the responsible product line; monitor service satisfaction level with optimized cost.
  • Passion on information technology industry and products.
  • Positive and proactive attitudes; ambitious and goal-oriented.
  • Strategic thinking and solid in execution.
  • Proficiency in English
Marketing Manager

Marketing Manager is devoted to deliver marketing objective via a planned set of marketing & communication vehicles under global branding framework. The role is designed to develop local marketing strategy catering for local consumer, and to generate demands and desire toward ASUS products and brand. Marketing Manager is required to stay connected to new technology, new media, and being on top of new market trend. The last but not the least, he/she must come with an open mind to “think globally and act locally”.

  • Co-work with product manager and R&D engineer to define product features, unique selling points, and positioning.
  • Generate communication strategy based on the understanding of the product and the target audience; execute the strategy by cooperating with the marketers in each country.
  • Co-work with local marketing teams to create attractive, effective and timely deliverable for the various audiences, which includes both end-users as well as channel and OEM partners.
  • Develop and implement strategic messaging platforms, execute marketing plans, and define budgetary parameters.
  • Work with cross-functional teams (Social Media team, PR team, Content Management team) to execute product strategies/tactics and deliverables.
  • Familiar to market research and consumer study to study consumer insights and cultivate great ideas.
  • Passion on information technology industry and products.
  • Positive and proactive attitudes; good communication skills.
  • Strategic thinking and solid in execution.
  • Proficiency in English
Technical Service Engineer

Country Service Manager

Country Service Manager (CSM) is regarded as the service manager for each country. We expect the well-performing CSM can be the potential candidate for the Regional Service Manager or Global Product Service Manager in the future.

Main Job description is as below:

  • Study and understand the market and the competitors in order to decide how to plan service model for the country
  • Understand ASUS product roadmap and product portfolio from ASUS headquarters, select and plan the right service model for the product
  • Decide and set up the service policy for the product line in charge, make sure we could achieve the required service satisfaction level with optimized cost
  • Review and manage country service operation
  • Monitor country service KPI and build up audit process
  • Quarterly service business review and management: Including costs, expenses, control and management
  • Able to monitor biz momentum, competitor’s service strategy, prioritize targets and manage resources effectively
  • Good communicator who can lead an assignment and communicate with other dept and across the team
  • Positive thinking, proactive and strong in execution
  • Language requirements: Proficiency in English and Chinese
  • Flexible to work in any country
